The Lydia Guild

Quilts In Memory of Jean Herrmann

"The Lydia Guild recently lost our dear member,  Jean Hermann.

To honor her memory our guild ladies accepted  the challenge to use one of Jean's quilt patterns and make a 'baby' quilt for dedication in a special Sunday service.

Sunday, June 17th, with family, friends and Lydia Guild members present, we dedicated 39 quilts to  three different community organizations;  Life Crisis,  the Eastern Shore Pregnancy Center,  and the Natal / Pediatric Unit at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

They will be presented to the needy,  the  critically ill,  and to homeless children.

Our Lydia Guild put their heart, soul and love into this project in hopes of helping others and to remember our dear friend."
